Phone conversation

Swapna and Shrikanth were classmates in graduation and great friends. Now Swapna is working in Pune and Shrikanth in Chennai as software engineers. Both thought that they would be always online and can be with each other's company at least in virtual world. But the hectic work and company policies like blocking the internet for personal use are obstructing their wish.

“It has been four months since you called me, what happened to you TK? You forgot me?” shouted Swapna. “Even when I made a call you didn’t pick up my call and I thought this time also you won’t answer my call.”

“Hey, why do think like that, I was just a little bit busy. Calm down. Okay, how are you, your new project and dummy? What’s new in your life,” asked Shrikanth.

“I am okay. My new project is in J2EE; it started last month and running smoothly. My new project leader(PL) is really an absolute dummy. Believe me TK; he doesn’t even know the ABC of the project. Whenever he feels others are becoming aware of his ignorance, he proves his stupidity by bragging about the success of his earlier projects, their complexity and his skill in tackling clients.”

“Funny ha-ha, I should work with your dummy once,” laughed Shrikanth. “Hey, but I heard your company is a great place to work. Great places give shelter to dummies; Ha Ha.”

"I dreamed a lot about this company. But after joining here, I came to know that here every one is a stupid," said Swapna.

"Oh! I know it, long time back. Even though it’s late, it’s good that you understood about yourself and joined your group," cracked Shrikanth up.

“Yeah, I am also a stupid member in your group, dummy, ha-ha. My life has become routine and I want to have some fun vacation get out of this. TK, we shall go out somewhere this week end. What do you say?”

“Shrikanth! TL (Team leader) is calling you,” Swapna heard a voice from the other end.

“Swapna, I will get back to you after twenty minutes, let’s discuss about the place.”

“Thank you TK; you are my same old Thin SharK and I am A Spawn (Young child) of yours”.

“Okay, I need to attend a meeting, no time for anagrams and Wan Sap (Person’s pale face) and think about the place.”
